This Privacy Policy explains how Magnolia by the Sea, operated by Cayman Lowe ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use this website to request a reservation or otherwise contact us.

Information we collect

When you submit a booking request or contact us through this site, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your requested check-in and check-out dates, guest count, and any message you include
• Payment information when you complete a booking, processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details ourselves

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Review and respond to your booking request
• Communicate with you about your reservation, including by email and SMS text message. For example, confirming receipt of your request, letting you know whether it's accepted, or sending you a secure link to complete payment
• Process payment for a confirmed reservation
• Maintain records of reservations for our own operations

We do not use your information for advertising or marketing purposes unless you have separately agreed to that, as described below, and we do not sell it.

SMS and text messaging

If you provide a phone number when requesting a reservation, it is used by the property owner to reach you directly about your request, such as by phone call. We do not send automated reservation-status text messages; updates about your request are sent by email.

Guests staying at the property also have the option to sign a printed consent form authorizing us to send promotional text messages, such as returning-guest discounts and seasonal offers. This is separate from, and not required for, reservation-related texts or for booking a stay. Message frequency for these messages varies, typically no more than a few times per month. Message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or HELP for assistance.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers we use to operate this site and process your reservation, each of whom is bound to use it only to provide their service to us:

• Stripe, to process payments
• Resend, to send transactional email
• Twilio, to send transactional SMS
• Our website hosting and database providers, to operate the site and store reservation records

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data retention

We retain reservation request records for as long as reasonably necessary for our own business, accounting, and legal record-keeping purposes.

Your choices

You can reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving SMS from us. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of your information, contact us using the details below.
